I booked a party a month earlier, but wasn't told that a 2-week advance cancellation is needed to keep the $100 deposit. With the fear of the suspecious Swine Flu in the pudged sound area, most of my guest who really would like to come to the party expressed concerns about having a party in an enclosed place. When I called 2 days in advance trying to RESCHEDULE the party, I was told that I will lose my deposit no matter what. A new reservation is needed with another $100 deposit. \r
\r
Nobody can foresee a potential disaster even in a day, let alone 2 weeks ahead. I asked for partial refund, but was refused without any further consideration. I had no choice, but forced to cancel (otherwise, I would be charged the full amount if I don't cancel and don't show up!)\r
\r
Kids look forward to play and I, as a loving parent, love to see my child have a wonderful, fun-filling birthday party, but I also would like to make sure that my children and all the guest feel comfortable and safe at my party. This review is to make sure that future potential party-location finders are aware of their strict policy. To me, it is just $100 loss. To 321 Bounce, it is losing a good number of potential customers in the future.\r
\r
321 Bounce needs to have a more flexible cancellation policy especially in situations when public health is the reason. Also, there is a difference between RESCHEDULING and CANCELLATION, thus need to be treated differently.\r
\r
Pros: Prompt response.
Cons: No flexibility and bad management.
