They're the only business I use.\r \r Had a late night refrigerator problem (2:00 AM to be exact) and I called them up. At first I figured they wouldn't answer but turns out, they did! They got someone over in 45 minutes and gave me an estimate and showed me what went wrong. It was fixed within an hour and a half, and now runs like new. The tech was kind, considerate, and assured me he did late night calls all the time. They get all of my business now. Call them up! more

Excellent business!\r \r I had a problem with my stove on Tuesday and a repair tech came out the same day. He carefully told me what the problem was and the exact cost and fixed it all within an hour or so. He was kind and courteous and made sure to clean up after he was finished. I had a Refrigerator and Washer fixed today. Within a good hour of setting up my appointment between 11-1, a service technician arrived right at eleven o'clock. He was very friendly and had a good disposition, and serious about his job. As soon as he was taken to the my appliances, he set his tools down and got right to work! He explained step by step what he was doing and what needed to be fixed. I got a deal on both appliances and a guarantee for five years on my invoice. He even gave me tips on how to keep both running long time. He was very helpful and nice and his work was quick and precise! I will be giving him all of my appliance work from now on, and referring him to all my friends and family and making sure their friends and family find out about them. This company is the best I've ever dealt with. With so much experience (35 years!) and such friendly, smart workers, I'm in good hands. more

i am so pleased had a tech out late we just got back from vacation refrigerator was dead it was 100 am i had no idea someone would answer but i was surprised when they did they got a man out in 30 minutes he fixed in on the spot very pleased and i will always use them from now on more

we had a few problems a week or so ago on 2 appliances. the washer was leaking on the floor and the refrigerator stopped cooling and it was on a sunday, well we did not know what to do so i went online for help and searched for a repair company. i called 24 hour appliance they answered the phone live that i was shocked about on a sunday. they were very polite asked what problem we had and i tried to give them information that would help, because i was worried all my food was going to spoil. well they sent a man out and he was great, he found the problem with the refrigerator fast, and had it repaired in about an hour i was so happy, and the price was very good, then he looked at the washer and he also repaired that, i could not believe a company on a sunday would have the parts to repair them both but they did and i will refer them to all my friends, and family when they need service, i am an older woman and i never had too many problems with appliances but i am sure happy i called them. there is nothing worse to me when my refrigerator stopped, i don't know what i would have done, the washer was older but he fixed it fast and i could do my clothes for my sick husband and that was a plus, we live on a fixed income so price of course is important to us, so i was happy they were very fair in that department, when i have another problem you can be sure i will call them to take care of it, that is for sure,. i have no problems now but i know all things break down sooner or later even us, well i don't think they can fix that but i know they can do appliances. thank you ed your a sweetheart, and i really mean that. more

Let this review be a warning to other potential victims of24 Hour Appliance Repair in Hollywood, Fl 954-964-6645 they will rip you off!!!!\r \r Here is my story. \r \r Without doing any research I called this company out to repair my refrigerator. The were very prompt in showing up witch was nice. The technician did some troubleshooting and determined what he felt needed to be replaced and billed me $400. The don't take credit card so I wrote them a check and they deposited it immediately. It cleared my bank the next day. \r \r The repair worked fine for 3 days and then it stopped working again. They give you a 5 year warranty so I called them and they came back out and refilled the Freon and it worked again for 2 days and quit. They came out and did the repair again and this time it never worked. After the final visit they agreed to give me a refund less the$75 service call fee. I was fine with that and actually thought very highly of the company to even offer the refund.\r \r That was over a month ago and I have yet to receive the refund. Every time I call them I get lip service about how accounting will call the next day and no one ever calls. I was bit surprised considering it was there suggestion to get the refund. \r \r I decided to call out an authorized Kitchenaid service center. When the tech arrived a explained that I had paid 24hr Appliance Repair $400 and that they had changed the overload relay and capacitor and recharged the system. I also told him what was happening prior to the initial service call. He explained to me that the symptoms sounded like it was just the relay that had gone bad. He also explained that you should never touch the Freon in these systems as they are sealer and you only have problems once you try to recharge them. \r \r Upon inspection this is what he found:\r 1) 24 Hour had used an aftermarket relay which had now burned out the compresser.\r 2) They had also rigged a device to recharge the system which was what was probably causing the leak. \r \r I was told the original repair would have been about $100 but now I was looking at about an $1800 repair or $7000 to replace the whole refrigerator. \r \r Even with this information I have only ever asked for my refund and have never accused them of destroying my refrigerator or costing me another $7000 to replace it. \r \r I am posting this as a WARNING to consumers stay away from 24 Hour Appliance Repair. My experience with them has now cost me $7400 which is $7300 more than it should of cost me. \r \r They constantly lie to me about sending me a refund. I was a little worried when the said they only take cash or check and the fact they went straight to the bank to cash the check is a bit concerning.\r \r Let this be a warning to other consumers 24 Hour Appliance Repair in Hollywood, Fl 954-964-6645 will rip you off!!!!\r Sincerely,\r Scammed\r more

I called a few days before and asked the company to repair my refridgerator. They listened to all the details and quoted me $200-$250 over the phone. THey did not mention any other charges such as a charge for the estimate. And this is the second company I called and the first did not charge to give an estimate so I had no way of knowing this. They didn't arrive on time, calling later to say the person had a flat tire and could not make it. They then showed up without warning the next day. The person said it would be $375 to replace the ice maker and repair the motor on the refirdgerator. My wife was home and I wasn't, so she told him we would have to discuss it and get back to them. He then demanded a $35 fee for coming out and making the estimate. When she said that we were not made aware of this fee over the phone, he got defensive, threatened to put a lean on the house, and made my wife nervous to the point that she paid him. I then called to complain and the person who answered the phone (not the tech, but the person I had spoken to the other day) said that it was a standard fee. When I told him that another company had already been out and did not charge a fee, and that I was not told about it, he told me it was my fault for not asking. Then he hung up on me! more
