Food is delicate, superb, gorgeous in presentation - delicious. This is a top-notch restaurant, that can fully recommend to out of town guests. Fabulous! Pros: World class As...

The architectural design and aesthetic appeal of 20.21 are very in line with other Wolfgang restaurants (Spago, red seven) but, unfortunately, that's where the dining experience e...

Mediocre Meal Wrapped in a Pretty Package 2/4/2006

Room had a wonderful view at night, but was uncomfortably loud. Lettuce cups were reminiscent of PF Chang. Thai curry was Minnesota mild. Service and staff were attentive and inobtrusive. Pros: Good service Cons: Loud more

Delicious food. Great service. 1/4/2006

The ambience was so-so, but the food was fabulous. The crispy duck was cooked tender and crispy, though I found the accompanying noodles too salty and had it replaced with jasmine rice. Calamari salad with thai chili sauce was flavorful and a great combination of textures. Lori, our server, was the perfect combination of attentive, helpful and non-obtrusive, and made me feel totally attended too. Wonderful. I'll be back the next time I'm in Minneapolis. more

Amazing 12/28/2005

I went there for my birthday with a large group of friends so we were sat at ""the"" table with the view of the city. That alone was amazing. The server was helpfull with our order, we told her what we wanted and she ordered the appropriate amount. We had the perfect amount of food. Everything was delicious especially the butterfish, lettuce cups and tuna tartar. I would go back in a heartbeat. All of my expectations were met. I did'nt find the price that expensive all 5 couples walked away paying about 100 dollars that included several drinks per couple( I would have been okay paying more.).Excellent restaurant ! more

Excellent Food! 12/18/2005

I read all the reviews prior to going to dinner, and given that the last few were negative I was weary. However...the food was truly amazing. I highly recommend the potstickers, Butterfish (the best fish I have eaten in a very long time), and desserts (Fondant and Cherry Spoon Chocolate delight). Our waitress was excellent, and very helpful when we asked her what she recommended on the menu. The ambience is lacking, but we were there for the food. Ambience would not keep me away from going back for another dinner. Pros: Food, Service, View Cons: Ambience more

overrated 12/4/2005

We had an awful experience- very slow and uninformed service; mediocre food that tasted like Leann Chin but not at same prices- too many excellent restaurants in town to go here again more

trying not to be disappointed 9/30/2005

I read the reviews before our 9 pm reservation on Friday night and now I see they are all true - the food is not bad, but this place overhyped. (All of the employees seem a little overly impressed with themselves for what this place is...) The best part of the entire experience is the decor/ambience. Our server had good intentions but service was noticably slow and unattentive. The family style serving is a little awkward too. For a party of 2 she recommended 3 plates total and we were thankful we ordered 4. Hamachi was really subtle and unremarkable, steak tartare was good and presented well, thai seafood red curry ok, and the mongolian pork chops were disappointing. At least the check wasn't too offensive. We skipped desert and went up to Sebastian Joe's. Pros: Ambience, View Cons: Service, Food more

Good food but terrible service 9/24/2005

Went there for brunch. Had a reservation and was on time but still have to wait 10 minutes for our table. Our server spill water on our table and never came to clean it. Finish our meal and went to the desert table and nobody clean our table. Coffee was included but never offered. I don't like went the server is too personal but I don't like to be ignored. Pros: We more

Please step it up....... 9/22/2005

20.21 could be a top shelf contender but misses on a couple of beats. The ambiance feels a little cheap in the daylight but comes into its own at sunset or later. If the weather is permits, head for the patio. Food presentation was 5 star but taste underpowered for a restaurant of this caliber. The calamari salad was the best part of the evening. The thai pad noodles and roasted pork chop had weak flavors at best. The creme brulee while presented well, was nothing special. Our server came to the table a number of times with an arm load of dirty dishes, come on. She showed us very little personal attention. Upon being seated we were brought a small dish with szechwan green beans. Nice thought but an overcooked poorly presented intro dish did not set my expectations too high. Please bring this place to a higher level. Pros: ambiance at night, patio, presentation Cons: food, flavor, service more

Great Service - Great Food 9/21/2005

We went here for our anniversary expecting that we were going to spend a little money for the quality of food we had heard of. The dinner was FABULOUS! The setting, service and presentation could not have been better. The bill was NOT outrageous for the amazing dinner and portions we received. We seriously agreed it was the best meal we had had in our whole lives. Only thing to beware of is the high priced bar drinks. That bill was almost 1/3 of the cost of dinner - for 2 drinks. All in all, an amazing place to visit! I have never experienced such great service at a restraunt! I highly recommend a visit! Pros: Presentation, Service, Spectacular taste! more

Get off the computer now and Run to 20-21 8/14/2005

Recently moved here from Los Angeles, which is over saturated with the Wolfgang Puck empire. I was resistant to trying this place...but I can't DENY IT. The food is superb, the setting in the museum is really beautiful, but it is very loud, so don't come if you need to have an important conversation. The sashimi was smooth as butter, the miso marinated fish was delicious. Presentation, service, food quality. The restaurant is seriously top notch. Pros: great food, service, view Cons: loud more
