I heard about this place nearly everyday on the radio while I drive to/from work, and my girlfriend decided that she wanted to update her four year old prescription and get new contacts. After hearing a ""good"" review from our friend, who recently bought contacts there, we decided to call and set up an appointment. I sat in during all of the doctor's tests, and what I saw was sub-par service. My girlfriend previously had astigmatism, and it was also in her medical records. However, when the optometrist saw that he immediately dismissed it and told her she did not have astigmatism anymore. Afterwards, during contact selection they ended refusing to take no for an answer and forced us to purchase a six month supply of contacts. After a day of wearing the contacts, my girlfriend could not STAND them so we ended up trying to exchange them for glasses (the order for the contacts hadn't even been fulfilled yet, two weeks later) which they refused. Instead, they forced a different brand of contacts on my girlfriend and once again refused what we wanted. Finally, after going back a third time, they exchanged the contacts we bought (three weeks later, and still hadn't had them in our possession yet) for glasses, with a total less than the contacts we had bough. They never ended up giving us a refund or credit back for the difference.
Not to mention, the glasses in this store are extremely cheap, and the staff knows this! One of the staff commented on my frames (Ray Bans) and said, ""Oh, those're nice. You sure didn't get those here, did you.""
Oh, and they just gave her the same prescription in both eyes, when previously one eye had a stronger prescription. Actually, that eye is still a different prescription and I have to deal with her complaints that her right eye is more blind.
