They got to the storage place on time, brought 4 men, were very nice and extremely FAST. They finished in less time than they quoted and I saved a money on what was already a LOW quote. My husband and I recently used Serenity for our move from Inwood to Kingsbridge in the Bronx. The team of 3 men arrived on time, introduced themselves and carefully inspected all the items that needed to be moved. They asked all the right questions, explained the paperwork and immediately started working. \r \r It was clear from the beginning that they knew exactly what they were doing. Lionil, the gentlemen in charge, was thoughtful, kind and treated his co-workers with such respect. At our new coop, they asked where we wanted each piece of furniture placed and also put the boxes in the appropriate rooms. \r \r I can't say that I was surprised: out of all the moving companies we looked into, Serenity was the only one that continued to call and follow-up with us as we waited to close on our coop. They were willing to tentatively hold a date until we knew when we would be moving. Maxwell was patient, answered questions thoroughly and made what can be a stressful process so much smoother. \r \r I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!! You will not be disappointed. I was so pleasantly surprised with Serenity. I chose them based on the name, online references and a good price. I can honestly say the move lived up to the name. I found the movers professional, steady and quick. They prepared things efficiently and smartly and we had no damages. They were courteous and made me feel relaxed with their skills. We have had several moves these past years and I can honestly recommend them. They are far and above the name brand competetors like Moishes and All American. I used Serenity Movers this past weekend for a 1 BR move (elevator on both sides) from Brooklyn to Jersey City. I was nervous, because they didn't have many reviews online. But they had shirts with logos and trucks with logos, so I figured that would be a lot of work for a scammy company.\r \r These guys were INCREDIBLE.\r \r I had called THE DAY BEFORE THE MOVE, and they didn't blink an eye. I spoke to Maxwell, who was totally cool. I asked for a flat quote based on a comprehensive list of items, and Maxwell agreed. The price was $200 to $300 less than the other companies I talked to, and was (IMHO) the right price -- not overpriced and not lowballed.\r \r I was still nervous the day of the move. They were scheduled to show up at 11am, which meant they had something before my appt and I was nervous the first thing would run over. Nope -- they showed up early. The crew was run by Silas, who took pride in what he did. All three guys were fast and really cool. They disassembled and assembled a bed, a bookshelf, and moved the whole apartment perfectly. I moved fragile stuff, too -- small sculptures, glass lamps, etc. \r \r Nothing was banged up. I tipped 2x what I had planned to tip. I don't usually write reviews, but more people need to know about these guys. The fact that they're green is a plus. more
