Having only visited this establishment since the renovation, I can only say good things as opposed to a "before and after" style review. The food is amazing, the only time service has every been slow in my experience is Sunday morning (and hey, where isn't there a brunch rush on Sunday morning? My heart goes out to waitstaff everywhere), the building is clean and enjoyable, all of the staff are friendly, and the portions are enormous for a very tidy price.
If you're considering visiting Cheryl's for breakfast, do please go. Ignore the negative reviewers and make up your own mind. You're not likely to be disappointed. There's a reason it's been voted "Best Breakfast In Livingston County" years running.
