I am not at all pleased with the service of Roy E Steele Shoe Repair.
When I dropped off three pairs shoes to have the heels fixed, Roy barely
looked at me when he spoke, simply telling me he wouldn't get to them
until a week from that date. I said that was fine. He required me to pay
him up front. When I returned on the specified date, he had closed his
shop early. (I was there at 3:20, the hours posted on the door said he
was open until 3:30). I came back the next day at 2:45 and his shop was
closed then as well. I went back to work and tried to call and see if his
answering machine had the hours on it, which it did not. I still have
not gotten my shoes back and am very frustrated at the lack of
customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone in
Louisville.
