Folkerson must have had his staff write the other 2 reviews in this thread. They answer work orders quickly. But they are too cheap to actually fix the problem. My family lived in one of their properties for 5 years. The only reason we did not move out sooner is because we could not afford to move with the $300 a month electricity bill for a 1600 sq. ft. house. The air-conditioned was crap and Folkerson refused to replace it. The unit was more than 15 years old. The ac tech that came to fix it said the unit had not been manufactured for over a decade, and on 3 occasions told us that it needed to be replaced. Two times he stated that the attic was insufficiently ventilated. After calling the assessment into Folkerson the tech would say well sorry we’re just going to clean the coils and we’re not adding ventilation. We kept the house at 80 in the summer and in July and August our bill was still $500. The fence in the back yard began to list about 1-year after we moved in. Our son could not play in the back yard because it was dangerous. When we informed Folkerson of the problem he stated that it was not his fence. WHAT! The fence eventually fell down completely section by section. The office staff made comments to my wife the made her cry because of their racist nature. Additionally there was a busted water pipe on one side of the house that Folkerson refused to fix. The whole side of the house was saturated. They stated it was from a pipe leak at the neighbor’s sprinkler system. But, the neighbor did not even have a sprinkler system. Additionally, the house was 3 ft higher in elevation than the neighbor and water does not run up hill. So if you like a land lord that fixes problems with duct tape, is racist, and imho dishonest, then please rent from Flokerson. Also realize that the other posts here are written by Folkerson’s staff.
