I was new to Seattle and I went to Autologic asking to check my brakes. They did that and said "there is nothing wrong to my breaks but we did a Complimentary free AAA inspection for you." and we found that your car needs transmission flush, coolant flush and we got to adjust your battery cables etc...
They are charging to adjust my battery cables $40, where as i got my car battery for $50
I did a transmission flush to my car about a 3 months a ago and now they say that I have to do it again!! Dont believe the customer service, the technique they use is to use lot of technical terms and try to make you feel that something is REALLY wrong with your car!!
As well the transmission flush over Firestone, which is just 0.3 mile away from them(a trusted franchise) is $100 bucks and they charge $125 for it. When I asked why they charge so much, they again start using some technical terms saying there are different kind of tranmission flushes and we do the best. However, if you go to any other place no one specifies that there are different kind of transmission flushes! Beware of customer service, they talk politely and project as if something is really WRONG with your car. If you question them about the price or the necessity, they will start using lot of technical terms.
