Its been awhile since I have been to this office but I do remember them typically being very busy and the lobby typically being very full and somewhat discombobulated and even some of the staff not being the friendliest but also being very busy.
Customer service is very important and I wish that this office would work on that aspect. But I also believe that the three reviews before me are based on very materialistic and overly judemental viewpoints. All of them said that the treatment and the doctor (in particular Dr. Holtzmeier - who is the physician that I choose to see when needed) was good.
So what's more important to you? The appearance of the lobby and the personality of the high school educated clerk at the front desk or your health? If they were the only clinic in town that had a cure for cancer or AIDS and you needed those services, would you not go there because the lobby SEEMED dirty?
Grandview Family Practice in is a relatively old and very centralized location and perhaps they've outgorwn that space. Regardless, there's only so much they can do about their appearance and the locals. If you're a Grandview dweller and going there expecting cheese and wine at the door...well...why are you even going to the doctor? Maybe you should go to the holistic chakra healer a little closer to home.
Ever stay in a $250 a night hotel in downtown Chicago? I've stayed in nicer places in the outskirts of Kansas for 65 bucks...I'm trying to teach my child not to judge a book by its cover...and sometimes not even by the first few pages.
