Boarding your best friend is never easy but I know I'm leaving her with dog people. Last time I had to check her in I turned to leave the yard. They were walking her to the kennels. As I was opening the gate I turned back to take a last look. I was undetected by my dog or the staffer and they were patiently allowing my dog to smell the grounds and make herself at home and not just rushing her back into the run. It was a simple but telling moment. If I have to board my dog I am so happy to have this facility and these PEOPLE nearby.
