You’d never expect a restaurant that looks like a shack and is at the point where University Avenue empties into UC Berkeley could be so fantabulous. It’s colorful and the hut offers the visitor topical colors, a seating area covered in fake grass and wonderful tri-tip (which the owner offers you a sample of just for standing around and looking). He does wonders with sandwiches, adding herbs that titillate the palate.
