I have always been interested in acting, but just did not know where to start. I was working as a wedding photographer when I decided when I do go back and take an acting class class. I did a lot of research and decided on The Acting Corps. I met with Eugene Buica, The Artistic Director and we had a lengthy conversation. I decided to do the introduction to Meisner Class program, or Boot Camp I. Well, I fell in love with acting and The Acting Corps. I say it was an introduction to Meisner, but it was so much more then that, it was also cold reading and scene study, and more then I can't even put into words.
The teachers really know how to pull things out of their students, stuff that you never thought you were able to do. Taking acting classes is fun, but it's not easy. I believe they are one of the greatest acting schools out there. The classes are about fifteen people per class, which is smaller then many places. This makes everyone get the attention they need as actors and students. If you're serious about taking an acting class and you want to give it a real try, I highly suggest The Acting Corps.
