I recently moved to College Station, and haven't been able to find many coffee shops that aren't Starbucks. I really enjoy the atmosphere that locally owned coffee shops like Sweet Eugene's offers. They're coffee is good, and they have a nice variety of snacks too! The only thing is that on evenings during the week, there are usually quite a bit of college students studying (or talking) - so if you're going there to study and need quiet - I'd suggest bringing some headphones :) There are couches, tables, and chairs everywhere - and the place is fairly large for a coffee shop, I think.
