My younger children really adore the Children's Museum. My older children get bored pretty quickly. It's a fun learning palace for those who love to pretend. The pretend grocery store, restaurant are the girls favorites. Watch your heals in there for little shopping carts! ;) And the big princess chair, is always a smash hit. We usually end our trip in the reading/puppet room, and act out a fun story we have just read.
I suggest you get there early, it gets really busy. And you'll want to get there early for parking, since parking lot is shared with zoo visitors. And I highly recommend a yearly membership. If the kids enjoy it, it will be worth it.
