I used to live in Cottages on Grant and wish someone had warned me about the management. They have issues. By the time I moved out, I was frankly scared of them. They also do not respect tenant/landlord boundaries. For example, they do not respect the 24 hr notice to come into your apartment and they will pick up and move and/or confiscate your belongings outside. My neighbor even had his trash bin held "hostage" for $30., even though he was the one with the garbage contract and paid the city's garbage bill.
I avoided the management and maintenance people at all costs. Conversations were too adversarial.
