Chris Abbe took over Pleasant Hill Kennels in 2010 and has made some amazing improvements. The previous owner had allowed the kennel to get some poor reviews but now, with Chris owning and his new manager running the place, it's truely a wonderful place for dogs to go. They are always friendly, take time to talk to you about your dog and your needs, rescue unwanted dogs, keep the place sparkling clean and spend hours with each dog getting them settled in. I've been able to come visit my dog and use the enclosed "park" in the back several times. If you are in doubt about them, go over and take a look for yourself. These are people who really care about dogs and have turned the bad reputation it had totally around.
