The Kentucky Theatre is a perfect movie theater experience. The architecture of the theaters (There's the Kentucky Theatre and the State Theatre) is visually stimulating; the refreshments include normal theater fair, like soda and candy, as well as locally-produced Kizito cookies and domestic and imported beers; the films are great and the Kentucky is often the only place in Lexington you can see them (typically foreign, independent, classic or art films). This is one of the few alternatives to going to a bar in Lexington and it's a so much more fun. Oh, and don't miss the Rocky Horror Picture Show - it's an experience! I love this place!
