Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse is a great, family-friendly restaurant. The service is excellent too.
It's decorated like a friendly hunter's lodge - and
if you've never been, you're in for a treat.
Periodically, the animals on the walls (buffalo, moose, fish and a racoon) move and talk. This is very entertaining for the kiddies!
They serve salads, steaks, chicken, burgers and more.
The price range for entrees is about $8 to $20.
The steak is served to your preference (rare up to well done) and they have you cut it in front of them to ensure it is how you like it.
The steak itself is wonderful, the best steak I've had in a long time. The burgers are good too, if a bit over-cooked. The side-salads are delicious, with a good selection of veggies and croutons.
The kid's menu is well priced, from about $3 to about $4 depending on the entree. The kid's entree's include most of the standards (mac& cheese, noodles, cheesburger, grilled cheese, hotdog) as well as steak and ribs. Many of the kids meals come with fruit, and they all come with an individual icecream dessert. Pretty good value!
