The Granada has definitely made a large improvement from what it was when I first moved here. I feel very torn when it comes to the Granada-- I have seen some awesome shows here and I have seen some really horrible shows here. I do think that it really depends on the crowd and sometimes the Granada can bring in an awful crowd. I do tend to think that the tickets there are overpriced but the Granada is the biggest venue in Lawrence so they'll naturally bring in bigger bands. I usually really like the bartenders and the drinks, and the women's bathroom downstairs isn't so bad. Mainly the thing I dislike the most is that some of the door guys can be real jerks; I'm sure that having that job sucks but I've gotten a lot of attitude from this particular venue for no reason.
