This theater is a beautiful old-style movie theater with a huge big screen in the main theater. The main theater also has huge cathedral ceilings and even still has the stage where the pre-show used to be played. My only concern with coming here at night is that the neighborhood is not the best and there have been some scary incidents at the theater. Of course it's rare and all, but I'd rather see a matinee than an evening show, but maybe that is just me. Having worked for the city of Kankakee, I've seen too much to feel comfortable in the city in the dark.
