I love all things Australian. But I just don't get Outback. Sure, that big onion is a nice treat. And service is usually friendly to the point of flirtatious. Once you get past that, service is usually slow (they never seem to have enough help in the kitchen). The food is often greasy. The bill is often heavy like the food. I suppose it is a fun place to hang out if you want to drink a lot and nibble a little. But I can't recommend it as a place to dine regularly.
