Tropical Thai is located right in the heart of Sarasota, in five points. This little restaurant offers an attractive setting, attentive service, and great food. If you love the subtle balance of sweet, sour, bitter, and heat, you'll love Tropical Thai. My favorites are the coconut based curries: the pineapple chicken curry is probably the best I've had anywhere. They also have a full sushi menu, with a few Thai inspired specialties. Dinner is around $10-20, and well worth it.
