Kamakura in Champaign is true authentic Japanese food halfway across the world from Japan. My wife is of Japanese decent and her family loves to go to Kamakura. I, myself, hate sushi and all types of seafood. This worried me that I would leave Kamakura hungry. Nothing to worry about though, there are a few beef and chicken dinners that are absolutely amazing. Kamakura is one of the pricier restaurants in Champaign, but a few times a year they do offer half price sushi.
