I LOVE Ethiopian food! It's absolutely amazing that it hasn't caught on in a bigger way in this country, because it is more nutritious, less expensive, and more tasty than what people usually eat. Unfortunately, some other Ethiopian restaurants apparently have Ethiopian sanitation standards, though not everyone lets roaches bother them. Also unlike other Ethiopian restaurants, Café Soleil does not burn large amounts of frankincense. Café Soleil prepares its dishes with as much skill as the others, in a beautiful location in Madrona, with lots of light. Their weekend breakfast foods don't look Ethiopian at all, but are equally well prepared.
