The Paramount theatre is my favorite movie theatre to go in Kankakee. They have one large theatre, seating over 600 and 4 smaller theatres seating 100-200. The large theatre has kept it past intact with intricate ceiling artwork. The sound system is up-to-date as well as new, even more comfortable seating. Usually, new movies start out in the bigger theatre, which is where you want to see them anyway. Of course, my only complaint (not only with this theatre) is the high-priced food. But we all know it's not company or theatre specific so don't let that deter you from enjoying this theatre's atmosphere for your next movie.
