Between Sheridan and Fullerton, the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) Red Line has been extremely slow in the last couple of months. This is due in part to construction by DePaul University at the Fullerton stop, in part because they ALWAYS seem to be working on the tracks lately, and in part because of mystical, cosmic forces that conspire to make sure you're late to whatever you're trying to get to.
My recommendation - when traveling during the day on the North-side Red line, allow at least thirty five minutes of travel time between Sheridan and Fullerton. You'll be on time and probably, less angry at the CTA, which makes the commute better for everyone.
