I don't know why this is. Perhaps it was the cold snowy night I first walked into the warm, inviting confines of the Hopleaf or maybe it was the Flemish stew paired with a delightful Chamay Triple. In any event, I love this place and recommend it to anyone that's looking for a fun, laid-back night out on Chicago's northside. Since it's in Andersonville, it can be a bit of a trek to get there if you're coming from LP but it's an easy cab ride from Evanston or Lakeview. Simply put, Hopleaf rocks!!!
