OK..so that's a weird combination, but faithful readers of my reviews should know by now that I have ecclectic tastes!
After driving by Tony's for years, I stopped in last summer for tomatoes and lavendar. (And yes, dried lavender mixed with a bit of sea salt and freshly grated parmesean topping green tomatoes under the broiler for a few minutes IS good!
I was soo pleased with the plants I found! I got a fantastic harvest out of the plants I found there. Just as impressive as the plants was the family-business aspect of Tony's. I spoke with a son who was a teenager and he was full of knowledge and confidence. Not only should Tony be awarded a prize for growing great tomatoes, he should get one for growing great kids.
