The owner really makes her company look bad. My mother and I both purchased a pair of skates. My skates were great! I love them and they were making me skate better but my mother's skates on the other hand were defective. She was scared to death to wear them. I tried to skate in them and I couldn't at all. As soon as I got on the skating rink I got completely turned around from the skates.
The staff was great and tried to accommodate me but nothing worked. When I tried calling the owner, she never got back to me. I had to call her three times in one week before she actually returned my phone call. Finally, when she did return my phone call, she was very IGNORANT! KEEP IN MIND I NEVER MET/OR SEEN HER BEFORE.... She was talking over me throughout the whole conversation. She said "Obviously your mother doesn't know how to skate"...but she doesn't know myself or my mother. This lady would not let me tell her my situation at all. And then she hung up in my ear!
Before this incident, my fiance' and I started going to young's and we did like it. So we told our family and they started coming. We would go every wednesday faithfully and we loved it....besides the music.
WE BROUGHT THIS LADY BUSINESS, WE PURCHASED THREE PAIRS OF SKATES FROM HER (WHICH WERE ABOUT $200 A PAIR). AND WHEN WE HAD A SITUATION WITH BRAND NEW SKATES....SHE ACCUSED MY MOTHER OF NOT KNOWING HOW TO SKATE! THE OWNER DOES BAD BUSINESS AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO PURCHASE SKATES FROM YOUNG'S.
I wanna say that I was judged but i'm not gonna make any assumptions. I'm just going to say that she is IGNORANT!
