The Greensboro Children's Museum is an amazing and fun-filled place. My son's favorite items in the museum are the following: the fire engine and the airplane cockpit. Both of those items are NOT child size models. These are the real things!! There's a child size grocery store, fully stocked with miniature grocery carts and cash registers. They have a puppet area, drama area, music area, post office, pretend bank (with working ATM that gives you play money), a sand play area, construction area, and a whole lot more. I love the fact they have an area set aside for the 2 and under crowd -- filled with age appropriate toys and activities for that age range of children. Admission price is reasonable with discount times on Friday night and Sunday. Membership is definitely worth the cost. Staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is free and usually plentiful.
