as you can read in another one of my reviews - i attended the childbirthing class with the VNA - and then signed up to have home visits after my son was born...you can keep having these visits for quite some time after your child is born - although i only had mine for the first 4 months or so...it was nice though - a pleasant nurse would come to my house and i could ask her about any questions or anything i was nervous about...mine helped me figure out my pump - answered a few questions that i felt silly calling the doctor about - was able to see where my son slept and calm my fears about that....depending on your income and/or your insurance the fees vary - but it is a great thing to have!
