My mom is determined not to move in with one of us or to an ‘old folks home,’ but after her fall last winter my brothers and I knew she just wasn’t safe there by herself. Active At Home Helpers has been great – her caregiver is there every a few hours every day and lets Mom keep her feeling of independence. We feel a lot better knowing the basic household stuff is taken care of and that Mom’s keeping up with her meds. She’s happy – we’re happy – it’s been a win-win for all of us.
