King Arthur's Pasties in the Flint area have been a favorite of mine since I worked downtown in my young adulthood. At some point in the late 70s, The Flint Journal even had the original recipe in a full page article about the King Arthur's Pasties Shops. I still have that paper and have made pasties from the recipe, but I still try to stop and pick up a bunch for the freezer when ever I am in the Flint area. Let me also say, I have eaten many pasties in the UP of MI where pasties are famous,...and, well, these are better...in my opinion.
