Schlitterbahn is a fabulous place to play. We purchase season tickets which are accepted at the S. Padre Island location as well and then we can go early or go late and avoid the crowds. My favorite part is that they allow you to take a cooler. You can pack lunch, drinks etc. and save tons of money. Believe me, the kids get very hungry after a few hours of fun in the water and bringing in your own treats is a true savings. If you go, avoid busy holiday weekends and check their schedule for open dates, they may be open earlier or later in the year that you thought. Check out the website, it's very helpful also.
