This is a nice, peaceful park to visit for a day trip. You can fish on the Little Pautuxant River (limit 2) for trout, which is stocked. There are lovely trails for biking, hiking, and walking your dog. There are lighted tennis courts, a playground, and a picnic area. Make sure to check out the truss bridge. Apparently, it's the last remaining bridge of it's type.
