This is a nice, peaceful park to visit for a day trip. You can fish on the Little Pautuxant River (limit 2) for trout, which is stocked. There are lovely trails for biking, hiki...

There's nothing savage about this mill 3/10/2006

Savage Mill is an old mill estate that has been reincarnated into a bunch of little shops, restaurants, and a few interpretative sites. My wife and I went there for lunch with friends of ours in the area and had an enjoyable time. There's an enormous parking lot, so I bet the place gets crowded during the summer and fall months. We didn't get to walk around much, but there appears to be plenty to see if you've got an afternoon to kill. more

Nice Day Park 9/25/2005

This is a nice, peaceful park to visit for a day trip. You can fish on the Little Pautuxant River (limit 2) for trout, which is stocked. There are lovely trails for biking, hiking, and walking your dog. There are lighted tennis courts, a playground, and a picnic area. Make sure to check out the truss bridge. Apparently, it's the last remaining bridge of it's type. more
