I went with my boyfriend to this track when he turned 21 (we did vegas when I turned 21 so that it was fair to both of us.) We both had a really good time.
The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The Employees are all really nice and did their best to explain how to place a bet.
I haven't been to the 4th of July Celebration yet but have heard it is fantastic.
I really liked being able to go out to the stable area and view the horses before each race.
Throughout the Race Season, Lone Star Park will usually Team up with Dr.Pepper and offer $3.00 Tuesdays (could be Thursdays I cant remember). The $3.00 and a Dr Pepper can pays for entry into Lone Star Park, A Large Soda and a Race Schedule.
