Tucked away next to Fitzy's Pub in Plainville, The Pastry Box is a neighborhood bakery that is easy to miss, but worth the trip. Homemade cakes, cookies, brownies and pastries fill the cases. Their chocolate eclairs are a particular favorite of mine; my kids like the cookies. The premises are clean, and the quality of the baked goods is high.
