Taco Rico, near the University of Miami on US-1, is one of the best places in all of Miami to get a cheap meal (and there are many good places). Large portions of scrubby-in-a-good-way tex-mex are yours for under $5. Make sure to try a California burrito, and go back for as many refills as you'd like of their free chips and homemade salsas.
