Taco rico is better than taxas taco even though they are 2 feet away from one another! i think bc texas taco looks so pretty it gets more business! i was conned into thinking it was popular because of how lively it looks in comparision to taco rico which is tucked away and tiny but taco rico has huge portions of tasty tex mex - which is big enough to share as well as a great assortment of drinks! more

Best place for a cheap meal 9/8/2005

Taco Rico, near the University of Miami on US-1, is one of the best places in all of Miami to get a cheap meal (and there are many good places). Large portions of scrubby-in-a-good-way tex-mex are yours for under $5. Make sure to try a California burrito, and go back for as many refills as you'd like of their free chips and homemade salsas. For eating on a budget, you really shouldn't miss Taco Rico. Free delivery to the area for orders over $10. more
