The thing I like most about Caribou Coffee Co. on Franklin Street is their atmosphere. The place is big enough to accommodate the enormous University student crowd (unlike Jack Sprat, my other favorite, which often gets too crowded around lunchtime and you can never find a place to sit). Caribou Coffee, on the other hand, is quite spacious, with multiple indoor and outdoor seating options. I love the front room with the couches and fireplace - it's a great spot for people watching on Franklin Street. When the weather is nice, the outdoor tables are never empty. And the coffee? It's quite good! Their array of smoothie/blended cold coffee drinks is quite scrumptious, and the quality of the beverages and baked goods is consistently high.
