Caribou Coffee

The best coffee shop in the triangle hands down! The drinks are amazing, the staff is helpful and you are never made to feel like you have been there "too long." Starbucks could learn a thing or two. more

Caribou has the best Turtle Mocha in town! It's also a fun place to hang out and grab coffee with friends, especially because you can sit outside on Franklin St. However, you do have to pay for internet access, so I'd probably take computer work elsewhere. Caribou also has cool questions of the day so you can get a discount if you get it right! more

The thing I like most about Caribou Coffee Co. on Franklin Street is their atmosphere. The place is big enough to accommodate the enormous University student crowd (unlike Jack Sprat, my other favorite, which often gets too crowded around lunchtime and you can never find a place to sit). Caribou Coffee, on the other hand, is quite spacious, with multiple indoor and outdoor seating options. I love the front room with the couches and fireplace - it's a great spot for people watching on Franklin Street. When the weather is nice, the outdoor tables are never empty. And the coffee? It's quite good! Their array of smoothie/blended cold coffee drinks is quite scrumptious, and the quality of the beverages and baked goods is consistently high. more
