Great for the tourist, but not for the fans 8/19/2005

Wrigley Field has been around since 1914, and has hosted both the Cubs and the Bears. While it looks great on TV, the experience now in the 21st is not as great. The bathroom facilities are very poor, as expected for something that is over 90 years old. The food isn't that great, but if you want a beer, there's no shortage of it. Most of the seats have a terrible view due to the structure of the stadium. For a Cub fan living in the Chicago area, it is an absolute pain trying to get tickets to a Cubs game unless you want to deal with scalpers, even when the Cubs aren't doing too well. The area around Wrigley Field is loaded with places to go after a game, which is a plus. If you've never been there before, go experience a part of baseball history. more
