Salt Lake Roasting Company has great desserts and serves up a hell of a coffee. They have a large selection of teas as well. Thank god the ridiculous Starbuck's lingo hasn't infiltrated this place. They have some of the best coffee beans in the valley. In fact, I would venture to say that they are better than Peet's, and Peet's is mighty fine.
Cons? Well, the people working there aren't particularly nice. It's not that they are mean, they aren't very warm and friendly. It's been that way from day one. Don't get me wrong, they are efficient and don't cop attitude. much. I guess I expect it them to be a bit more friendly like other coffee shops.
