This fully restored 1913 city library, containing 17 miles of bookshelves in just a few stories, this is easily one Portland's architectural highlights, with its massive windows, towering ceilings, and grand staircase. It's so spacious inside, with so much room to move about, that you wonder where so many books can be hidden away. Hours are not as long as many would like, so check before you go.
