Heid's of Liverpool is an institution to hot dog lovers. This unassuming little hot dog house serves conies, or white hot dogs, for which they are best known. My grandfather, who grew up in Liverpool and on Heid's, started taking me as a kid and I still make special trips there just for the hot dogs. There is seating indoors and outdoors if you choose to eat at Heid's. You walk in and are served sort of cafeteria style--also worth picking up with your hot dog is the out of this world potato salad. Top it off with some Byrne Dairy chocolate milk, and you have a perfect meal!
