This museum, housed in Norman Rockwell's summer home, reflects on the life and art of the painter who for several decades painted the definitive picture of American life in the Saturday Evening Post magazine. Thus, the museum is as much a tribute to Americana, as it is an insight into the life of the artist himself. As such, it will interest not only lovers of Norman Rockwell's art, but also people who are interested in cultural history and/or just want to reminisce on life in America as it once was, looked at through a humorous eye and devoid of cynicism.
