POOR customer service 8/19/2005

When we bought our first home, I called around for oil prices to decide where we would order our oil from. I called Johnny Prescott Oil and asked their current oil price. The woman on the other line accused me of calling from another oil company, and would not give me their price. After I calmly explained to her that the whole purchasing oil thing was new to me, she still did not believe me. At this time, she HUNG UP ON ME! I called back a few minutes later telling her how dissatisfied I was with her customer service. I asked to speak to her manager. She hung up on me again! I called back once more to let her know that she just lost a potential customer and that I was going to tell everyone I know how poor their customer service is. Well, this is one more way for me to let people know what happened to me! It's really too bad that front end people such as this can put such a bad taste in a person's mouth!!! I know that I will never call them to order oil just because of the way I was treated that day. more
