We make the Crystal Palace one of our regular dining stops when visiting Walt Disney World. The character interaction is terrific -- wonderful photo opportunities and autographs, and the buffet is great as well.
They have a nice salad selection, hot meats and sides, and a lower buffet area easily reached by children (the children can eat from the entire buffet, however the kid favorites are at child level making it easier for a child to scoop up their own choosings) The dessert section is great as well, with a lot to choose from -- cookies, cakes, pies, ice cream.
The characters (Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Pooh) make their rounds to each table in a timely manner.
If you are celebrating a birthday, make sure to tell the wait staff -- your birthday boy or girl will get a special birthday cupcake, and if you let them know in advance (when you call for a seating) you will be surprised by a decorated table and card signed by the characters!
